Our DJs
The art of a great party is a DJ that knows his onions (and beats). Our roster of DJs are not only experienced in Weddings, Corporate and Private Events but they all have years (and years) of experience DJing in bars and clubs across the World, from London to Ibiza and of course, here in the Midlands.
Supporting new and established headline names along the way including Hannah Wants, Sam Divine, Howard Donald (of Take That fame), Solardo, JFK and many many more.
Some of them still spin vinyl sets at various events too.
Stef
With over 25 years of experience, Stef began honing his DJ craft at the age of 13. His extensive journey includes significant residencies at prominent venues such as Harleys and Genesis & Liberty’s in Chesterfield, where he developed a versatile command of various musical genres. Stef has also shared the stage with acclaimed artists like Farley Jackmaster Funk and John Kelly, showcasing his deep roots in the industry.
Aside from DJing weddings and corporate parties for Boda Beats, you can also find him playing for the Movida brand, playing regularly at Binks Yard, The Palais and supporting Groovebox amongst other promoters.
This rich background has equipped Stef with the unique ability to curate an engaging and vibrant wedding party atmosphere, ensuring a seamless flow of music that keeps any wedding celebration lively and memorable.
His passion for music drives his commitment to delivering a personalised and exceptional experience for every couple.
Oli
Oli has been spinning tunes for many years and is an absolute must for any party that needs an uplifting vibe.
As the driving force being the Movida brand, he's helped support many famous DJs both here and abroad.
His ability to play to the crowd makes him perfect for weddings and corporate events and will guarantee to keep people dancing for the whole evening.
Sam S
Introducing Sam Smith aka FAIL2STOP.BEATS, joint owner and resident DJ of the house music brand MOVIDA.
Since Lockdown over 5 years ago Sam has been working hard to build a name for himself in the music scene. He’s played at a variety of events including weddings, birthdays and corporate parties and received some amazing feedback from clients always bringing the vibe to any party!
Sam has also performed at some incredible venues over the past couple of years including the legendary Emporium nightclub in Coalville, Notts’ Pitcher and Piano, The Palais, Binks Yard and the Tunnel Club, supporting international DJs Roger Sanchez, Hannah Wants, Sam Divine and SOLARDO along the way.
Sam’s first love and musical taste ranges from Disco, House and Dance Classics although for events, of course, Sam is able ‘read the room’ and provide the right music for the crowd.
Expect some high energy, funky beats which will take listeners on a nostalgic musical journey!
Liam
Introducing DJ and Producer, Liam..
Gracing the decks of Ministry of Sound, Base Bar Ibiza and holding a residency at both Moneypennys and Hotdog, Liam's DJ resume is a tapestry of some of the best dance music nights of the past 25 years.
Being a wedding photographer, videographer and content creator has played a huge role in Liam bringing great music to the wedding and corporate industry.
With a diverse knowledge of music, Liam can curate sets that span a multitude of genres of music for a wedding to ensure that party keeps going until close.
You can currently find Liam presenting his weekly music show on Sweet Frequencies Radio as well as DJing in and around Nottingham for various clubs, bars and every year at Nottingham Pride.
Likewise, you can also catch some of Liam’s dance music productions on rotation such as So Good and Ripped Groove.
